Siemens in the Lower Gulf

History

Siemens has a long-standing presence in the Lower Gulf region. It is currently represented by four regional companies that are based in United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Qatar, and Oman. The company is also active in neighbouring Yemen, which completes the Lower Gulf territory.

Siemens’ involvement in this region stretches back nearly 150 years.

Corporate Responsibility

As part of its Corporate Responsibility programme, Siemens is committed to various Corporate Citizenship initiatives.

Globally, Siemens’ corporate citizenship activities fall under two platforms: Caring Hands, which is social giving, and Generation21 which is education and development of young people. In addition, Siemens also has various activities under the umbrella of arts and culture.
