Our relationship with the Middle East is a long one, stretching back to 1856 when Werner von Siemens himself was in the region to lay telegraphic cables under the Red Sea.
Although Siemens has been operational here through much of the last five decades, an official, full time representation only came about in 1972 when Siemens Resident Engineers were established in Dubai.
Since then, our business interests have grown substantially. In response to that growth, Siemens AG and our local partners established Siemens LLC in late 1999. The global strength and diversity of the Siemens organisation is reflected in this region in a wide array of industries; ranging from energy to communications and automation to medical solutions.
